Opened on May 25, 1908, this is the largest opera house in Latin America. Its facade has strong influences of Italian Renaissance and its interior dome was painted in 1966 by Raul Soldi, world-renowned Argentine artist. It features a fabulous program of Opera and Ballet. Great dancers such as Julio Bocca, Maximiliano Guerra and Paloma Herrera emerged from its Ballet School.
